The Township Rollers FC midfielder pointed out that fans had always been scrutinising the national team and insisting that local players should be given more chances, especially after Kenya lost 3-1 to Gambia in a World Cup qualifier.
Replying to the tweet that had been shared on X (Twitter), Kenneth Muguna called out Kenyan fans for always picking sides.
The 29-year-old claimed that whenever he makes any comments concerning Kenyan football, people always tend to call him all sorts of names, but that does not apply to other players.
“But when muguna talks/tweets Muguna is arrogant. The double standard we have in this beautiful country called Kenya is shocking,” he said. [via Pulse Sports]
The former Gor Mahia and Kenya Police FC midfielder urged fans to judge players fairly and consistently, insisting that honest opinions should not be condemned simply because of who says them.
