Taifa Leo reports that When President William Ruto decided to make peace with his close political-ally- turned-bitter-rival Uhuru Kenyatta, he chose 12 goats as gifts in his visit to the retired president’s village home in Ichaweri, Gatundu South Constituency.
This is the first private meeting the two leaders have had since William Ruto became the fifth president of Kenya.
Ruto gifted Uhuru goats which in Agikiyu culture was in a symbolic gesture to reconcile their differences & try woe him to board a broadbased government.
