DCP leader Rigathi Gachagua has asked IEBC to cancel the tender for a new election management system; argues that it is not possible for IEBC to procure and set up a new election system within 11 months.

Gachagua has accused IEBC Chairman and his deputy of allegedly seeking to introduce South Korean firm MIRU Systems’ technology into the 2027 General Election for financial gain and to compromise the polls.

He challenges the IEBC leadership to allow Kenyans to freely determine their leaders at the ballot, warning against actions that could undermine confidence in the 2027 elections
