President Ruto appoints Dr Duncan Oburu Ojwang Chairperson of Independent Policing Oversight Authority(IPOA), for a period of six years, effective August 31,2026.

He succeeds Justice Ahmed Issack Hassan, who resigned from his IPOA post in February this year to take up a role as a Judge of the Court of Appeal of Kenya.

The President also appointed Antonina Lentoijoni and Wilson Sossion as members of the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) for a six-year term

The head of state further named Flora Nduku Mutua as a member of the Public Service Commission (PSC) for a six-year term.
