Amos Kipngetich Rotich was a Kenya Forest Service (KFS) officer who tragically died following a helicopter crash in Nandi County, Kenya, on February 28, 2026.

According to reports from a nurse named Jacobeth Jeptoo who reportedly attended the victims, Amos survived for approximately 30 minutes after the jump

During that time, Despite sustaining severe burns and injuries, he asked where Ngeno was and was told that he had passed on.

He then succumbed also to his injuries shortly after 30min.
