Gov’t Receives 27 Returnees Who Were Detained In Ethiopia

The Office of the Senior Presidential Envoy for Special Programmes, in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, has secured the release of 27 South Sudanese detainees who were arrested in Ethiopia following a diplomatic intervention.

The group arrived in Juba today, where they were formally received by officials from the Office of the Senior Presidential Envoy and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
