Rwanda Has Once Again Been Ranked Africa’s Top Country For The Rule Of Law

Rwanda has once again been ranked Africa’s top country for the rule of law, according to the 2025 Global Rule of Law Index. The rule of law means that everyone, including leaders, must obey the law to ensure justice and equality.

Rwanda has maintained its top position in Africa for several years, performing strongly in fighting corruption and maintaining security. Other leading African countries include Namibia, Mauritius, and Botswana. The report also noted improvements in Senegal, Sierra Leone, and Gabon, while Burkina Faso and Mali recorded sharp declines.
