UDA Leaders In Trans Nzoia County Opposes Ruto’s Affordable Housing Program
UDA leaders led by Senator Alan Chesang oppose President William Ruto’s affordable housing project in Trans Nzoia County.
Chesang says the move to evict people who were sold the prison land years ago by influential people in previous governments and have since buried their loved ones on the land is inhumane.
He believes that there are alternative sites to build the affordable houses without destroying the existing development in the area, which includes schools, hospitals and other social amenities.
