Miguna’s Latest Message To Ahmed Nasir On Supreme Court Ruling
The famous lawyer Dr Miguna Miguna has left a message to Ahmed Nasir following his ban from accessing the supreme court.
“The legal profession is a rules based profession. Advocates are officers of the court who are required to communicate, argue and disagree with their colleagues and the court within the prescribed rules. Judges and magistrates preside over the courts, interpret and determine the rules, the facts and the law. @ahmednasirlaw doesn’t have the power or authority to establish his own rules of engagement with the court, the facts or the law. His case isn’t one about free expression. It’s about GOVERNANCE and UNGOVERNABILITY.
A Supreme Court Decision cannot be reviewed by the High Court even in a banana republic. Period”, Dr Miguna Miguna said.
