Ukrainian long-range drones struck an Ozon logistics center in Omsk, Siberia, on October 24, triggering a fire at one of Russiaβs major e-commerce distribution facilities, more than 2,500 kilometers from Ukraine.
The strike targeted a large warehouse operated by Ozon, one of Russiaβs biggest online retail platforms. The company confirmed that the facility had been attacked and that a fire broke out, forcing employees to evacuate the site.
No injuries were reported in the companyβs initial statement. However, the full extent of the structural damage and the impact on warehouse operations have not been independently established.
The attack highlights the growing reach of Ukraineβs long-range drone campaign, which has increasingly threatened industrial and logistics infrastructure far beyond the immediate battlefield.
Omsk is a major industrial hub in western Siberia, making any disruption to its logistics network strategically significant. However, claims that the warehouse contained military equipment or that large quantities of Russian military supplies were destroyed remain unverified.
The strike demonstrates how facilities deep inside Russian territory can remain vulnerable to long-range attacks, potentially increasing pressure on Moscow to strengthen air defenses around critical infrastructure.
