Gachagua is considering fronting Babu Owino as his candidate from Nairobi Governor. Through his point man Senator Methu, negotiations are in top gear trying to convince Bazenga to step down for Babu Owino and laying a working formula between Babu Owino and Gachagua.

With support from the Kikuyu community, the Kamba’s and the Kisii, Babu Owino is guaranteed a win in Nairobi. Gakuya aka Bazenga is said to be disappointed over the recent developments and maybe the next leader from Mt Kenya to move away from the DCP Party.
