Former CS Moses Kuria says the formation of a broad-based government will inevitably produce political casualties, noting that not everyone can be accommodated in such arrangements.
He adds that Deputy President-designate Kithure Kindiki may likely be among those affected as President Ruto reconfigures his political lineup.
Kuria likens politics to an investment, arguing that leaders make decisions based on return on investment rather than sentiment.
He says President Ruto is expected to make his final decision by assessing who delivers political value and strategic advantage.
