In 2021, U.S. Army veteran Randy Adams was seriously injured during an unexpected altercation while on leave in Chicago.

What followed was a long, difficult recovery: a month in a coma, multiple surgeries, and the challenge of relearning how to walk, talk, and eat—all while navigating the emotional weight of starting over!
