Kikuyu musician Karangu Muraya has revealed that SHA has cleared his brother’s staggering KSh 460,000 hospital bill.
Muraya, who was among the Mt Kenya artists visiting Deputy President Kithure Kindiki’s residence yesterday, shared this news amid ongoing concerns over healthcare costs and government support.
His brother, hospitalized since February, was reportedly overwhelmed by the bill until the intervention ensured by SHA. Reflecting on the incident, Karangu said, “Information is power, you know. Sometimes we see the government say something is working, but when you speak up, it’s like people don’t listen.
When we go to them and tell them that this is real like for instance, my own brother I have not slept.”🙌
