Captain Kalidou Koulibaly Presented The Trophy To The President Of Senegal

Captain Kalidou Koulibaly presented the trophy to the President of Senegal, Bassirou Diomaye Diakhar Faye, in a heart-warming moment of national pride.

The Senegalese 🇸🇳 national team players received presidential handshakes 🤝🏾 before departing for AFCON 2025 in Morocco 🇲🇦, and today, they were officially welcomed back home by the President himself.

The President also declared yesterday (Monday) a public holiday across the country to celebrate the AFCON trophy.

H.E. Bassirou Diomaye Diakhar Faye (45), the President of Senegal 🇸🇳, is currently the youngest democratically elected president in Africa, having assumed office in 2024 at the age of 44.
