US President Donald Trump hosted a formal black-tie dinner at the White House for visiting Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
Portuguese football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo and billionaire Elon Musk were among the guests.
FIFA chief Gianni Infantino made yet another appearance at the White House ahead of the 2026 World Cup, which the United States is co-hosting.
During the dinner, Trump praised the Crown Prince as a “man of leadership” and designated Saudi Arabia as a major non-NATO ally, a status that provides a US partner with military and economic privileges.
