Meet The Fake KDF Who Was Arrested By The DCI

DCI detectives have arrested a suspect impersonating a Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) brigadier and conning unsuspecting Kenyans with fake KDF recruitment letters.

Joshua Mutui Muimi had upgraded himself from civilian to “KDF brigadier” without ever seeing a parade square.

He has been on a money-minting spree, conning hopeful youths with fake recruitment letters to the Recruit Training School (RTS) in Eldoret.

The suspect has been taken into custody and is undergoing processing pending arraignment in court.
