What Ruto Did After Meeting Former Nigeria President Obasanjo

The president William Ruto today held a meeting with the former Nigeria president Hon Obasanjo where they discussed various issues of development. According to the news which was shared on the social media platforms, the president William Ruto discussed about the former prime minister Hon Raila Odinga’s bid to be the chairman of the African Union.

Despite that, the president William Ruto also launched several projects in Nyeri and Muranga Counties.

It is our policy that Kenyans should have access to sufficient clean water for domestic use, livestock and irrigation. This is our strategy of weaning our country of rain-fed agriculture.

The commissioning of the Maragua Bulk Water Supply and Irrigation Project — with a daily capacity of 15 million litres — will guarantee more than 30,000 households of constant supply.

In Maragua, Murang’a County, accompanied by Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, Governor Irungu Kang’ata, MPs and MCAs.

Later in Othaya, Nyeri County, we launched the Changachicha Irrigation Project that will enhance the production of high-value commercial crops such as onions, tomatoes, carrots and vegetables, among others.
