Nangolo Mbumba, 82 sworn in as the fourth President of Namibia following the death of Dr Hage G Geingob.
He has been Vice President since 2018. Namibia’s elections were scheduled for November 2024
Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, 71 appointed and sworn in as Namibia’s first female Vice President.
She has served as Deputy Prime Minister since 2015.
