UPDATE: Kithure Kindiki Gives Update On WorldCoin Operations In Kenya
Interior CS Kithure Kindiki says that Kenya will not lift the suspension it imposed in August 2023 on the activities of WorldCoin. The government decided to suspend the operations after many youths came out to scan their eyes without knowing the side effects.
Kenya has been under pressure from the US to lift the suspension. Despite the pressure, the cabinet secretary for interior Hon Kithure Kindiki has assured Kenyans that it’s operations will not resume as it imposes danger to young youths who were obsessed to scanning their eye.
