Update: Kenya Increases Electricity Imports From Uganda

Kenya has increased electricity imports from Uganda by 18% to 20 million units in January due to high demand and decline in hydropower.

Kenya and Uganda have a power exchange programme during which either country supplies the other with power during periods of deficit.
