South Sudan Disqualified From AFCON u17 Due to The Following Reason
South Sudan has been DISQUALIFIED from the AFCON U17 by CAF due to age cheating!
South Sudan has been disqualified from the ongoing 2022 TotalEnergies AFCON U17 tournament in Algeria after 5 of their players failed the MRI Test used to ensure that all the players meet the age eligibility criteria.
Group C will now have only 3 teams – Cameroon, Mali and Burkina Faso.
For instance, according to South Sudan’s FA, pictured below is their 18-year-old goalkeeper Godwill Yogosuk Simon Sabio who was born in 2004.
