“The genuine welcome we received first as our Wiper Movement and as Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition members was clear and reciprocal as we opened our party offices in Kenancha, Migori County. As my coalition Co-Principal DAP-K Party Leader Eugene Wamalwa said “a strong Wiper is important in the journey to forming the next ruling government.”

Interacting with the wananchi at the office and on Togotane Radio, it was clear that the people felt marginalized by the Kenya Kwanza regime. All that they had been promised during the campaign period including the creation of a “48th” Kuria County was one of their many lies.

As Kenya’s 10th Vice President and Minister for Home Affairs, I advocated for and oversaw the creation of districts in Kuria to bring services closer to the people.

I however asked the people of Kuria including medical professionals not to lose Hope and also to keep using all constitutional means available to peacefully advocate for their Rights.
