Rigathi Gachagua Visits Isiolo Girls High School

The deputy president Rigathi Gachagua today toured In Isiolo Girls High School where he was accompanied by several leaders. According to the post which he shared on the social media platforms, the deputy president Rigathi Gachagua revealed that the government of Kenya kwanza will continue to give quality education to children.

“Quality Education is our Inheritance, the Motto of Isiolo Girls High School defines what the girl-child needs to lead a dignified life and transform the community.

Today, at Isiolo Girls High School, we are working with other leaders in a fundraiser for infrastructural development of this Institution, which is the only National school for girls in Isiolo County.

This is an important undertaking for this Girls’ School that is at the middle of a region with high prevalence of retrogressive practices, including Female Genital Mutilation, Early Child Marriage, among others, which deny the girl-child access to Education.

The fundraiser will complement the investment of the Government in enhancing the learning environment for better outcomes in Education.

Isiolo Governor Abdi Hassan, Woman Representatives Mumina Bonaya (Isiolo), Faith Gitau (Nyandarua), Liz Chelule (Nakuru), Jane Kagiri (Laikipia), Monicah Marubu (Lamu) and Pauline Lengoris (Samburu). MPs, including Senator Chute Mohamed (Marsabit), Joseph Samal (Isiolo North), Prof Guyo Waqo (Moyale), Geoffrey Ruku (Mbeere North), Abraham Kirwa (Mosop), Mburu Kahangara (Lari), Ali Laso (Saku), among others are present”, deputy president Rigathi Gachagua said.
