A drunk driver, identified as Joshua Paul Woods, crashed his pickup truck into power lines near Old Elkins Road in Buckhannon, West Virginia, early Monday morning, causing a power outage in the area.

The vehicle exited the road at high speed, hitting a tree, mailboxes, a fence, gate, and a power pole before coming to rest on the power lines.

Woods admitted to consuming alcohol and was taken to the hospital for injuries.
