“Ruto met with Mt. Kenya MPs and told them that the DP position would be theirs and that he would not interfere. Many of us went to him and told him we were uncomfortable with Rigathi as his choice for DP.

We told him he would regret it, that he is not good for the country, for the Mt. Kenya region, or for him.” he says.
