A very sad contrast;
As our daughter Truphena Muthoni is clocking 72 hours of hugging a tree, in environmental activism, a silent protest against deforestation, tens of trucks have just passed Njabini town headed to Fly-over full of huge logs. I can estimate the trees to be between 20- 25 years old, as old as Truphena. Check out This Story.
What a contrast!
We can only hope it is controlled tree harvesting but this is Kenya.
It will be a shame to see us congratulating Truphena when no one is speaking about the logging in the Aberdare water tower especially Njabini. Check out This Story.
