President Trump says the Flydubai co-pilot who allegedly tried to crash an Israel-bound passenger jet appears to be linked to Iran.

Israel says the midair chaos was an attempted terror attack after the co-pilot stabbed the captain and tried to bring down the plane. Israeli passengers and crew intervened before the aircraft made an emergency landing in Saudi Arabia.

The potential Iran connection comes as investigators work to determine whether the co-pilot acted alone or received outside direction. Netanyahu previously said it was too early to tell whether Iran was involved.
