Crazy World: Nakuru Man Who Confronted Police Officers Carrying A Panga

A man was once arrested after dramatically confronting armed police officers while carrying a panga during protests in Nakuru County.

The incident happened in the London area, where demonstrations had erupted following the alleged shooting of a civilian identified as Daniel Nderitu. According to reports, the man boldly approached anti-riot officers while wielding the weapon, gesturing at them and even signaling fellow protesters to advance toward the police.

Despite the tense situation, police responded by firing tear gas to disperse the crowd before arresting him. Authorities continued to patrol the area as clashes between protesters and officers went on for days, with businesses disrupted and some properties vandalized.

Ironically, a section of Kenyans came out in support of the man’s actions, but Kipchumba Murkomen criticized Kenyans for backing him, noting that the incident could easily have turned chaotic.
