Residents of Mbarara were left surprised after a man who had reportedly refused to repay a large debt for several months suddenly returned asking to clear the entire amount he owed.

According to the lender, the money had been given to the borrower as financial help during a difficult period, with an agreement that it would be repaid within a few months. However, after receiving the money, the borrower allegedly started avoiding calls and messages whenever repayment was mentioned.

He says he tried several times to resolve the matter peacefully. He visited the debtor’s workplace, contacted mutual friends, and even involved family members in an attempt to settle the issue. Despite all these efforts, the borrower continued to delay and made excuses whenever he was confronted about the debt.

After months of frustration and feeling that he might never recover his money, the lender decided to seek guidance from Magongo Doctors, who are known for helping people recover money that is wrongfully withheld.
