The Middle East has entered full-scale war on Saturday, February 28, 2026, as Israel and the United States launched massive coordinated air and naval strikes under the code names βLionβs Roarβ and βEpic Fury,β targeting nuclear facilities and key power centers in Tehran and other major cities across Iran. Large explosions and plumes of smoke were reported across multiple strategic locations.
Iran retaliated with a barrage of missiles toward northern Israel, particularly the city of Haifa, where loud explosions were reported as air defense systems, including Iron Dome and Davidβs Sling, intercepted incoming threats. Additional missiles were launched toward Tel Aviv in continued waves.
Missile strikes were also reported targeting air bases in Qatar and the United Arab Emirates. UAE authorities confirmed intercepting several incoming missiles, though one civilian fatality has been reported.
Arab media further report that Iranian authorities have partially shut down mobile networks and internet services in parts of Tehran, citing security concerns and efforts to prevent unrest following calls circulating online attributed to Donald Trump.
The situation remains highly volatile and under close monitoring.
