For years, a father of three in Kiambu, Kenya, lived in a home filled with endless arguments and emotional tension. What began as small disagreements between him and his wife slowly escalated into daily confrontations. The children became quiet and withdrawn, often retreating to their rooms to avoid the shouting. The warmth that once defined their family life gradually disappeared, replaced by suspicion, anger, and cold silence.
He explains that even minor issues would explode into major conflicts. Communication completely broke down, and every conversation seemed to turn into blame and frustration. Relatives tried to intervene and mediate peace, but the calm would only last for a few days before the cycle of conflict resumed. Financial stress and outside pressures made the situation worse, but deep down, he felt there was something more than just ordinary disagreements affecting their home.
