Jubilee Party has announced Richard Ole Kenta as its new Secretary General, replacing Jeremiah Kioni. The move was confirmed by party deputy Fred Matiang’i and approved by the National Executive Committee on Thursday, January 22.
Ole Kenta, former Narok MP elected in 2013 on a TNA ticket, served two parliamentary terms before vying for Narok County Governor in 2022. Jubilee praised his political experience as vital for strengthening the party ahead of the 2027 General Elections.
Kioni will now focus on supporting party operations alongside Matiang’i. Jubilee called on members and Kenyans of goodwill to offer full support to Ole Kenta as he undertakes this critical leadership role, cementing Jubilee’s influence, particularly in Mt. Kenya.
