It was one of those scorching afternoons along the Kenyan coast where the sun seemed to fuse with the sand, making the whole beach shimmer like molten gold.
Locals and tourists alike were going about their usual business—kids building sandcastles, women selling fresh coconut juice, and fishermen mending their nets.
Among the crowd, Mahmoud, a middle-aged man with a warm smile but a guarded demeanor, moved cautiously with his expensive motorized wheelchair. Mahmoud had been in the coastal town for a few days, attending to business and visiting family. What he didn’t know was that the day would take a shocking, almost surreal turn that would teach everyone present a lesson about karma, misfortune, and the power of spiritual protection.
Earlier in the morning, Mahmoud had parked his wheelchair near the beach while he attended to a quick errand. He trusted the area because it was usually bustling, with enough eyes to deter petty theft. Unfortunately, three local thugs saw an opportunity.
Kalama, the ringleader, immediately assessed the situation. His two accomplices were equally eager. In broad daylight, they descended on Mahmoud’s unattended wheelchair. Within moments, the thieves had snatched his expensive equipment, their movements brazen and audacious. Mahmoud returned just in time to witness the theft.
His heart sank. He tried to shout, to chase, but his mobility limitations made him helpless. The thugs laughed, confident that they had gotten away with a valuable prize. They didn’t know that Mahmoud had anticipated such threats.
Mahmoud had heard of Dr. Magongo, a renowned native doctor in Vihiga County, Western Kenya. Word had spread across coastal towns and cities that Dr. Magongo was not only skilled in protection spells but also capable of recovering stolen property and punishing wrongdoers in ways that were beyond ordinary comprehension.
