A section of Nyamira County Assembly members has vowed to challenge in court the Senate decision that overturned the impeachment of Governor Amos Nyaribo.

The MCAs cites the failure to meet the mandatory two-thirds threshold required for the motion and alleging that the Senate did not consider the substantive files or the allegations concerning irregular county initiatives, unlawful appointments, and mismanagement of public funds.
