Kenya Great Party has applied for provisional registration with the Registrar of Political Parties, adopting the Sufuria as its official symbol and grey, light blue, and white as its colours.

The party, founded by six largely unknown Kenyans, seeks to transform the Sufuria from a protest tool into a formal political identity, potentially giving a voice to urban and lower- to middle-income voters while challenging traditional elite-led politics in Kenya.
