Appearing before the Senate, Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja revealed that President Ruto has already paid for one chapati-making machine capable of producing between 6,000 and 8,000 chapatis per day, while the county is in the process of acquiring an additional one.

Earlier this year, President Ruto had promised to purchase a machine that would produce ONE MILLION chapatis daily for Nairobi students.
