What Do You Know About The “Night Nurse”?

Talia Oyando, known as the “Night Nurse,” is a celebrated Kenyan media personality and musician. Born on February 26, 1984, to renowned producer Maurice Oyando, she grew up in a musically inclined family.

At 17, she debuted with her group’s album Jambo Rafiki, earning early acclaim. Talia hosted Citizen TV’s iconic reggae show One Love for eight years, leaving in January 2025 after creating a cultural staple. She’s also been a vibrant radio host, previously at Homeboyz Radio.

Married to filmmaker Ezekiel Onyango, the couple has a son, Lyrics. Talia’s passion for reggae and connection with her audience have left an indelible mark on Kenyan media, cementing her legacy as an industry trailblazer.
