For two days, a young girl lay helpless in Nairobi’s CBD as people walked by, prompting Geoffrey Mosiria to question what had become of Kenya’s humanity.
“Watu hatuna utu,” he cried out.
Mosiria said he received a distress call from a concerned Kenyan on Saturday evening and immediately dispatched the County Ambulance team. Being nearby, he joined the rescue mission himself.
“It was a heartbreaking scene, a reflection of how far we’ve drifted from our sense of humanity,” he said. “How can someone suffer or even die in public as people look on? Where did our compassion go?” Mosiria questioned!
