Here Are Available IEBC Jobs To Apply

The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has announced multiple temporary job opportunities across the country, targeting qualified Kenyans to support upcoming by-elections and voter registration exercises.

According to details published on the IEBC iRecruitment Portal (jobs.iebc.or.ke), the positions were posted on September 30, 2025, and applications are open for a limited period. The recruitment drive seeks to strengthen election preparedness and continuous voter registration efforts.

Key Positions Announced

The IEBC is recruiting for the following positions:

  1. Presiding and Deputy Presiding Officers – Responsible for managing polling stations, supervising polling and counting activities, and ensuring transparency and compliance during elections.
  2. Polling/Counting Clerks – To assist in the polling and counting of votes under the supervision of Presiding Officers, ensuring accurate tallying and order at polling stations.
  3. Ward-Based Voter Educators – Reporting to the Constituency Voter Educator, they will spearhead voter awareness campaigns and civic education initiatives across wards.
  4. ICT Clerks – To provide first-level ICT support during elections, troubleshoot KIEMS kits, and ensure smooth data transmission from polling stations.
  5. Voter Registration Clerks (Huduma Centres) – To operate biometric voter registration equipment, update voter details, and support continuous registration across 57 Huduma Centres countrywide.
  6. Support Electoral Trainers (SETs) – To assist in the training of Presiding and Deputy Presiding Officers, ensuring electoral staff are adequately prepared for upcoming by-elections.
