“I Almost Ran Mad Because Of Too Much Poverty But This One Phone Call Changed My Life Completely” Calvin Shares

My name is Calvin, and I come from Masaka, Uganda. For many years, I lived a life that was full of pain, struggle, and shame. I came from a poor background, but I always believed that if I worked hard, I could change my life. Unfortunately, nothing ever seemed to work out for me. Every business I tried failed. Every job I got ended quickly without explanation. I reached a point where I could barely afford food or rent, and I started thinking maybe my life was cursed. Poverty had consumed me so much that I almost lost my mind.

I remember days when I would sit outside my small rented room and watch other men provide for their families, while I struggled even to buy a bar of soap. People mocked me, and friends avoided me. The stress grew so heavy that I started talking to myself, and I could feel I was on the edge of running mad. I prayed every night, I fasted, and I worked hard, but nothing changed.
