UPDATE: IG Police Douglas Kanja orders the suspension of top police officers at the Central Police Station following the tragic death of Albert Ojwang while in police custody at Central Police Station, Nairobi.

He orders the interdiction with immediate effect;

1. The Officer Commanding Station (OCS)
2. The Duty Officer on duty during the night in question, 3. The Cell Sentry on duty at the time
3. all officers who were on duty at the Report Office that night.
4. Any other officer found to have been on duty or otherwise involved during the incident.
