Man Sentenced to Death for Violent Robbery of Phones and Cash in Nairobi
A man has been sentenced to death by a Kibera court after being found guilty of two counts of robbery with violence.
The court ruled that the convict violently stole mobile phones worth Ksh39,000 and cash during separate incidents in Kawangware on the night of November 3, 2024, at around 11 pm.
According to the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP), the man first robbed a resident of a Tecno phone worth Ksh24,000, then targeted another victim, stealing a phone valued at Ksh15,000 while issuing threats.
