Inside Rigathi Gachagua’s Late Night Meeting With Religious Leaders At His Karen Residence

The deputy president Rigathi Gachagua on Tuesday night held a meeting with the church leaders from PCEA where they discussed various issues. According to the post which was shared on the social media platforms by the deputy president Rigathi Gachagua, top leaders led his wife Hon Dorcas Gachagua are among the people who attended the meeting.

This evening at the Official Residence in Karen, we as leaders of Government under the PCEA church leadership, met with the Moderator of the 23rd General Assembly of the PCEA Rt. Reverend Thegu Mutahi ahead of his installation on Tuesday, next week, during the Church’s 24th General Assembly.

He will become the Moderator of the 24th General Assembly of the PCEA.

I was accompanied by my Spouse Pastor Dorcas Rigathi, the clergy including Reverend Dr. Robert Waihenya Ngugi (serving in the office of the Secretary General, PCEA Church), Reverend John Mbae Muraga (Incoming Deputy Secretary General, PCEA church), Elder David Nderitu Ndumo (Treasurer), Mary Njoki (Parish Minister), Cabinet Secretaries Alice Wahome (Lands, Housing, Urban Development and Public Works) and Zachariah Njeru (Water, Sanitation and Irrigation), Principal Secretaries Joseph Mungai Mbugua (State Department, Roads) and Ephantus Kimotho (State Department, Irrigation). Other leaders included Kimani Ichung’wah (Majority Leader National Assembly), Kathuri Murungi (Deputy Speaker of the Senate), Nakuru Governor Susan Kihika, MPs Kanini Kega (EALA), Jayne Kihara (Naivasha), Irene Njoki (Bahati), Onesmus Ngogoyo (Kajiado North), Geoffrey Wandeto (Tetu), Jane Kagiri (Laikipia Woman Representative), Simon King’ara (Ruiru), Mejja Donk Benjamin Gathiru (Embakasi Central), John Chege Kiragu (Limuru), Duncan Mathenge (Nyeri Town), Rahab Mukami (Nyeri County Woman Representative), Njeri Maina (Kirinyaga Woman Representative), David Kiaraho (Olkalou), Anthony Njoroge Wainaina (Kieni) and John Kaguchia (Mukurwe-ini)”, Deputy president Rigathi Gachagua said.
