An alleged meeting between Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua and President William Ruto where Gachagua allegedly banged the table on his boss in sheer anger after Ruto denied him a Ksh8 billion shilling exit package, following sharp differences between the two is said to be at the centre of the charges that will be levelled against Gachagua at the floor of the national assembly next Tuesday.

Gachagua is also being accused of accumulating assets worth over Ksh5.7B since he assumed office. Cumulatively the Deputy President has only earned Ksh24M in salaries since being elected.
