
He believed in education, in the hope that one day Albert would lift the family from hardship and make life better for all of them back in Homa Bay.
That dream had started to take shape. Albert had just graduated from Pwani University. He was a new father, a teacher. He had a wife, a future and a family that depended on him.
Then everything changed.
Albert was arrested in from his home and transported to Nairobi over 350Km. Hours later, he was dead in a police cell at Central Police Station. The official story is thin. The pain is heavy.
Now, a father returns home with no son. A mother is left broken. A young wife must explain to her baby why daddy isn’t coming back. The light they had all been holding on to was cruelly dimmed.
