
My name is Samuel Kato, a politician from Masaka, Uganda. For many years, I worked hard to serve my people and bring change to my community. I joined politics with passion, believing that leadership is about improving lives. But despite my efforts, I faced constant defeat. I contested for elections five times, and every time, I failed. It was painful because I invested my energy, time, and resources, but the results never favored me. People started calling me a loser, and my opponents laughed at me.
Each time I failed, I asked myself why. I connected with voters, I shared my plans, I did campaigns tirelessly, but somehow, victory never came my way. Friends advised me to quit politics and try something else. My family also wanted me to stop, but deep inside, I knew I was meant to lead.
