CS Musalia Mudavadi reportedly received a call from President warning him that his plans to bolt out of the government are well known. So shaken, Mudavadi was forces to issue clarification about his commit-ment to the government.

Intel has that mudavadi is unhappy with the current broad-based government arrangement which he argues has pushed him to the periphery of power. The CS confided in his colleague that the President gives him less attention he used to get before the opposition joined the government. He is now under close State radar on his next move.
