Preparations are in top gear ahead of tomorrow’s public participation exercise aimed at gathering views of the public across the 47 counties, regarding the Special Motion on the Removal from Office by Impeachment of the Deputy President, H. E. Rigathi Gachagua.
Today, the teams spearheading the exercise conducted a dry run to ensure the process runs smoothly and in accordance with the law.
In Nairobi, Ruaraka MP, Hon. Tom J Kajwang led the MPs in supervising the dry-run conducted at the Bomas of Kenya, the collection point for views from Nairobi County residents.
He also held consultative meetings with the Nairobi Secretariat to get an update on the preparedness of the exercise, set to commence at 8.00am.
He encouraged Nairobi residents to turn up to submit their views on the Motion. Public views are to be expressed through questionnaires drawn in both English and Kiswahili.
