A taxi driver identified as Vincent Mwaba aged 28 of Ndola’s katombola area has been attacked and robbed of the vehicle he was working with by two male persons he can identify if seen.

The incident occurred on October 13, 2024 around 11 hours near Suse village along Chiwala road in Masaiti district and involved was a Toyota IST, Grey in colour with registration number ABP 3847 which belonged to the Victim.

Brief facts are that the victim while at Jacaranda mall was approached by two male persons he can identify if seen after which the two booked the said vehicle and asked to be taken to Chiwala area.

They made a stop before reaching their destination as they told the driver they were waiting for their sister who was coming from the nearby village and the same was to be taken back to Masala Township.

The two passengers then stepped outside to talk on phone while the driver remained behind seated in the driver’s seat. It was at this point that one of the passengers hit the driver on the head with a metal bar causing the driver to sustain a deep cut on the head and the two sped off in the vehicle.
